Why Savoir Humanity Exists

Savoir Humanity grew naturally out of our everyday event work.
After years of organizing conferences, we realised that the most challenging moments were never about logistics or décor — they were about people.

This initiative didn’t come from a strategic meeting or a branding exercise. It came from real life. We’ve experienced situations where something unexpected happened, and despite all our professionalism, we simply weren’t prepared enough.

From the moments when:

  • a participant felt physically or emotionally uncomfortable and didn’t know where to turn,
  • an accessibility need was overlooked because no one asked early enough,
  • a sensitive professional or political topic caused tension and even violence in the room,
  • or the team realised they needed clearer procedures yesterday.
Those moments remind us that an event is not just a schedule — it’s a living environment full of individuals with different needs, backgrounds, and vulnerabilities.

Savoir Humanity was created from those lessons. From real experiences, real mistakes, and real improvements. Now united by event organisers, legal professionals, and human rights and accessibility advocates, we bring those learnings forward with responsibility, kindness, and professionalism.

Who We Work With

We support organisations that want to align their events with the values they publicly stand for: academic communities, NGOs, governmental bodies, and purpose-driven institutions.
